An Overview of Emerging Cyanide Bioremediation Methods
نویسندگان
چکیده
Cyanide compounds are hazardous which extremely toxic to living organisms, especially free cyanide in the form of hydrogen gas (HCN) and ion (CN−). These metabolic inhibitors since they can tightly bind metals metalloenzymes. Anthropogenic sources contribute significantly CN− contamination environment, more specifically surface underground waters. The treatment processes, such as chemical physical have been implemented. However, these processes drawbacks generate additional contaminants further exacerbates environmental pollution. biological techniques mostly overlooked an alternative conventional methods. recent research has focused substantially on this method, with different reactor configurations that were proposed. minimal attention was given emerging technologies sought accelerate a subsequent resource recovery from process. Hence, review focuses tools be used biodegradation. include, amongst others, electro-bioremediation, anaerobic biodegradation use microbial fuel cell technology. demonstrated possibility producing value-added products, biogas, co-factors neurotransmitters electricity

The diary research method is one of the types of qualitative research that is different in context and over time due to its capacity to record the desired phenomena on a regular basis. This method, like other qualitative methods, is flexible and can be tailored to different research questions. The tendency of contemporary research is to study the feeling and perceptions of popular culture and t...
متن کاملMicrobial Bioremediation of Uranium: an Overview
Uranium contamination is a worldwide problem. Preventing uranium contamination in the environment is quite challenging and requires a thorough understanding of the microbiological, ecological and biogeochemical features of the contaminated sites. Bioremediation of uranium is largely dependent on reducing its bioavailability in the environment. In situ bioremediation of uranium by microbial proc...
